just came across an unfamiliar word in my textbook, so i googled it:

eructation

1. the process of belching.
2. that which is regurgitated in belching.


the context of this was that you have to be careful about cows barfing and burping ( and thus choking) after they been on their side for surgery..because they got lots of stomachs in there.
